Listed below are all active ingredients and corresponding explanations as to why this ingredient was chosen for this serum.
Active Ingredients:
Grapeseed Oil: Vegetable oil derived from the seeds of grapes. When applied to the skin, grapeseed oil serves as a moisturizer, helps to even out skin tone, and aids in the reduction of fine lines.
Sweet Almond Oil: Oil extracted from almonds. When used on the skin, sweet almond oil aids in dry skin management and works to heal damage done by the sun.
Jojoba Oil: Liquid wax produced in the seed of the Simmondsia chinensis plant. The liquid wax esters in Jojoba are very close to the sebum our skin produces, which is why it is so compatible with skin. Aside from being moisturizing, Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory properties that aid in a variety of skin conditions containing side effects such as dry and itchy skin.
Apricot Seed Oil: Oil pressed from the seed of the Prunus armeniaca. Promotes radiance and softness of the skin.
Rice Oil: Oil extracted from the outer brown layer of rice known as chaff. Rice Oil cleanses, softens, moisturizes, and nourishes the skin.
Vitamin E Oil: Derived straight from Vitamin E. Added to this product to serve as a preservative. Also helps heal skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Vanilla Bean: Harvested in Quepos, Costa Rica. When used on the skin, vanilla aids in all things aging- lines, wrinkles, age spots, etc.
Rose: Foraged in Jaco, Costa Rica. Adds a sweet scent while softening and moisturizing the skin.
