Scent Notes: Floral, Earth, Sweet

A celebration of life because yesterday has passed and today is here. 

Crafted in honor of my grandmother, Peggy Youngblood. After losing her husband in August of 2022, she chose to move out of the house that they built together in 1970 and into an assisted living facility called Sunrise. This center has brought her the greatest of friends and keeps her focused on her present day. A true celebration of life, I would say.

I chose a birdhouse as the art to symbolize this story, because Peggy hung birdhouses all over their yard in order to create a safe and inviting space for the birds. You could look out of every window in the house, and see a birdhouse that was occupied by a family. It's the best representation of Peggy- someone that created a safe and welcoming home.
